I'm choosing to focus on the positive, in that right now, I'm in a good position. I have a little savings to cushion and emergency, and I don't have any debt. As far as my long-term savings, well, like Ariel likes to say, slow and steady wins the race. :)Velvet Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14918734111188762591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-874719064634626617.post-42949730956864044862008-11-03T21:14:00.000-05:002008-11-03T21:14:00.000-05:00I'm like butterfly. My IRA however is holding it's own...no changes.LoveDChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01060199092940921323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-874719064634626617.post-1514344108937977892008-11-03T13:58:00.000-05:002008-11-03T13:58:00.000-05:00Everyone is taking a hit, but at least by 2028 we ...Everyone is taking a hit, but at least by 2028 we should be filthy rich!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11083771323502229692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-874719064634626617.post-66223610633050589512008-11-03T11:30:00.000-05:002008-11-03T11:30:00.000-05:00Dayum ... that sucks Keith ... but your losses sou...Dayum ... that sucks Keith ... but your losses sounds a WHOLE lot like mine. Too many people try to over-manage their retirement accounts, looking at them and rebalancing every few months. There's no need for all that. As long as you have the right mix for your age and risk tolerance, you really don't need to do anything except leave it on cruise control.Keith T. Not the best financial strategy, but I will drive myself insane if I check my balance daily.Butterrflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01617241178296196884noreply@blogger.com
